Here is a drawing I did in my travel journal after seeing the colleseum in Rome. The colleseum is absolutely breathtaking and truly leaves one overwhelmed and awestruck. If we are dumbfounded by the ruins of what remains now, just think of how magnificent it was covered in marble in its glory days.
